ALULA AT THE SAUDI VILLAGE IN ROME

Martinengo Communication, the Italian member of Pangaea, organized the participation of AlUla in the “Saudi Village” in Rome, in collaboration with The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia from 25-29 September at Casina Valadier, in the gardens of Villa Borghese. The event was organized to celebrate 90 years of Saudi-Italian diplomatic relations.

AlUla presented three high-level artistic and cultural events with the aim of introducing visitors to the richness of AlUla’s cultural and natural heritage:

• a museal and immersive stand with images and videos of the archaeological site of Hegra, heart of the AlUla oasis and Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, which was located in the main square of the Saudi Village
• the photographic exhibition AlUla: sites and faces along the Incense Road made with images by Giacomo Bretzel in collaboration with Condé Nast Traveler
• a talk entitled AlUla and Italy, two crossroads of civilizations connected – From the Incense Road to Present and Future Opportunities of Cultural Partnerships in collaboration with Condé Nast Traveler

Together with the Saudi Tourism Authority, we also presented AlUla both to the public and to a large number of representatives from the travel and media sectors.
