EVA Air celebrates the first anniversary of the Taipei/Taoyuan – Milan/Malpensa route. The Taiwanese airline’s first Boeing flight, carrying 300 passengers, took off from Milan Malpensa Airport on Oct. 27, 2022, bound for Taipei/Taouyan International Airport.

It has now been a year since the first flight from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) landed at Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) with a delegation composed of the airline’s top management on board, including President Clay Sun, spokesperson David Chen, Executive Vice President Albert Liao, and a group of Taiwanese journalists visiting the city of Milan, as well as passengers from EVA Air’s first flight to Italy.

Martinengo Communication was chosen by EVA Air from the embryonic stages of the preparation of the airline’s arrival in Italy and was commissioned to create the communication strategy, advertising campaign and events related to the celebration of the first direct flight between Milan and Taipei in October 2022. Martinengo Communication developed the company’s entire communication strategy in Italy, digital, offline and Out Of Home advertising campaign as well as PR and press office activities. The inaugural events took place over three consecutive days and the highlight of the celebrations was the gala evening organized at Palazzo Serbelloni, one of the most exclusive locations in Milan and a landmark of the international aristocracy, with the participation of ambassadors, institutions, media and a Taiwanese delegation composed of journalists and the company’s top management.

To mark the first anniversary, Martinengo Communication produced a photoshoot with the Italian branch of EVA Air in the main streets of Milan to celebrate the success of the brand in its first year in Italy.

The Italian branch of EVA Air will continue to maintain its dedication, integrating more and more with the local culture, investing for the long term and becoming a source of pride for the Taiwanese brand in Italy.
