American Airlines e SAVE annunciano il ritorno del volo diretto tra Philadelphia e Venezia

  • Per tutta la stagione estiva 2022, American Airlines collegherà Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) e l’Aeroporto Internazionale di Venezia Marco Polo (VCE) con un volo diretto giornaliero
  • I collegamenti diretti tra Philadelphia e Venezia torneranno dopo oltre due anni di sospensione e saranno operati da moderni aeromobili Boeing 787-8

VENEZIA, 23 marzo 2022 – Durante la stagione estiva 2022 American Airlines collegherà Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) e Venezia Marco Polo (VCE) con un volo diretto giornaliero.

Il primo volo decollerà da Philadelphia (PHL) il 5 maggio 2022 per atterrare a Venezia (VCE) il giorno successivo e, a partire dal 7 maggio, i collegamenti tra le due città saranno giornalieri fino alla fine del mese di ottobre 2022.

Diamo inoltre grande importanza alla costante collaborazione che abbiamo da anni con SAVE, il nostro partner aeroportuale, e con tutto il trade italiano che fa riferimento al bacino d’utenza dell’Aeroporto di Venezia Marco Polo. Siamo grati di queste importanti relazioni perché sono per noi una base essenziale per crescere di nuovo insieme”.

La riattivazione del volo di American Airlines per l’hub di Philadelphia, dopo i due anni di sospensione determinati dalla pandemia, risponde ad una rinnovata domanda di traffico da e per il Nord America”, ha dichiarato Camillo Bozzolo, Direttore Commerciale Aviation del Gruppo SAVE. “Dopo il graduale recupero del traffico nazionale e di quello europeo, anche il segmento intercontinentale sta progressivamente tornando ad operare al nostro aeroporto. Il volo sull’hub di Philadelphia garantisce capillari collegamenti all’interno degli Stati Uniti e confidiamo che presto la compagnia riattivi anche il volo su Chicago”.
